Some information that might offer a glimmer of hope to those wishing for the problematic chapter 129 to be revised.

Begins with the copyright of a manga where the author and the illustrator are different persons like Grapara. Legally and normally, they'll be joint owners with equal shares. So, any adaptation or production requires the consent of both parties, not just one.

Publishers like Kodansha hold rights only to the print version of the manga. This means they can reject the manuscript and require the author to revise it before it is published in a paper format. They do not have the right to demand changes to the electronic version. The publisher's primary revenue comes from sales of the print version (volume) and typically gives 10% of the revenue to the author and/or illustrator.

The rights to the electronic version belong to the creator who is free to publish the work on any platform. Publishing via websites affiliated with the same company as the publisher is only a convenient option, not a requirement. So, MagaPoke is just a Kodansha subsidiary that offers a convenient arrangement for the manga that the print version is published by Kodansha.

Online platforms like MagaPoke function as a rental showroom for displaying works. They hold no rights to the manga. Consequently, they give 70% of the revenue to the manga creator and retain the remainder as a rental fee. Creators are free to move their work to other platforms like a tenant simply moves to a new rental unit if dissatisfied with the current one. This explains why MagaPoke goes out of its way to appease Airi Katsura (sensei) by deleting or hiding comments that attack her or contain content she dislikes. They want to ensure she continues to rent space on their platform.

In summary, as long as the volume 14 which includes the problematic chapter 129 has not yet been published, Kodansha retains the right to have the manuscript revised prior to publication. This means the electronic version of chapter 129 does not necessarily have to be identical to the print version by Kodansha. They have the right to ask for a revision in order to sell the volume.

Anyone who wants chapter 129 to be revised needs to urge Kodansha to exercise that right. LOL

I don't care how Grapara will end but I feel that having Sakura being penatrated by someone other than the MC completely ruins everything about Grapara.

If Grapara is to be a manga worth buying and keeping for re-reading, Sakura must not have sex in chapter 129.

@diphuc1 @Alsatia @box2024 and friends, please correct me if I'm wrong. Bless you. LOL
I would've believed in potential change before 134, but now they're just committing to trying and finishing strong to cut their losses and move on.
I don't think things will go that far with 129 I have reread it and it's more mutual than I would have liked it to be it's in line with most Japanese porn Sakura was in fact reciprocating there and the ntr was given hints that it would happen. I agree that the whole plot was stupid and the debauchery should have been left to the side characters though. But we are talking about a massive company that publishes thoughts of mangas some depicting far worse than GraPara so I don't see them changing anything maybe for a western release but that's unlikely since netorare isn't popular in the west at all at least not with how japan does it.
She reciprocated like 1 kiss but I agree thats already way more than I would have liked it to be as far as this topic goes and 134 almost confirms a continued relationship of some sort (kind of?) despite again the still 0 signs of any romance between them.

After chapter 134, I feel like Sakura isn't necessarily overly 'gullible'—she actually fought back against that playboy when he said things she didn't want to hear. I think Sakura is the type who only wants to hear and believe things that make her feel comfortable; when someone says things she doesn't like, she still knows how to get angry and fight back.
134 really showed a different Sakura from now and that conversation between fucboi and her could be one of their last heading into the finale because I don't see them having fucboi try to fix anything with the page count left and going by the end panel. 135 is unpredictable though, Sakura still has like a 30% of staying with fucboi because all of a sudden she doesn't like confrontation again or she displays a deeper emotional attachment to him than the conversation earlier showed (girl at least sit down next to him if you've been dating), but readers would hate that, and the creators should know this so I'll try not to overthink.

Okay, maybe I was wrong for saying 'giving a blowjob,' but that licking action is still way more horrifying than the passive kiss Shinobu got from Fumi. It doesn't make Sakura's image look any better either.
I think it's pretty inconsequential tbh, like it's dick/mouth action, if someone in the story were to accuse her of it I don't think she would try to "um actually" her way out of it since it still looks about as bad, at least imo

She sure as hell was in all chapters prior. Believing that director was good guy as she was being easily manipulated by him.

Plus there was the "good guy" bastard. Which is another funny thing lol despite hearing herself that the dude isn't a good guy, she goes to him and says "I don't think you are!" to which he actively says "no I really am though".

It was surprising to see Sakura fight back against fuckboi here though. Mainly since he was basically mocking her guavure days when those are the days she's fond of.

Do you think this is enough to result in them breaking up? At the end of this chapter Sakura's shown to have found a resolve now (rare) to do something, it could just end up being the acceptance of that offer, but I'd prefer it to be something more than that after the Mio talk and Mio saying that she's in her corner.

No, Sakura isn't opportunistic. She's far from that.

She's just
  • naive(easy to manipulate)
  • head-empty(almost no brain, can't thing by herself)
  • self-centered(never done anything meaningful to Shinobu aside gave her V card to him)
  • high sex-drive (got stimulated easy)
  • no backbone (didn't defend Shinobu when other talk shit to him, break up via LINE without face-to-face talk)
  • impulsive (didn't confirm anything before jump to conclusion)

She's not a calculate type character, she just let things go with the flow without trying to put some of her though

I can bear with her for 120+ chapters because I can look at her as naive yet cute FMC, but I can't anymore after her cheating

And about showing darkside of industry, it's just very shallow surface level. No one read this manga for that value, we all come for good art and fan-service scene. Story is already trash enough yet KA put more fire into it

Duction man is better manga about showing darkside of industry, it quite an old manga and didn't go all the way but it show much more darkside (MC got framed by putting drug and reported from jealous actor, fallen actor who got proposal to exchange her body for work opportunities, power harrasment, etc etc)

I could see her taking the offer. Since she's lost she was unsure so she needed guidance. She needed that "push" basically.

In this case, Mio was that push for Sakura to begin to be more independent with her actions rather than following what others say. There might be 1 or 2 instances prior, mainly the idol arc and I think her going to the director for "guidance", this seems to be the first time she's found her resolve/motivation to be more independent.

Now, fuckboi easily made his intentions clear. He does not want her to do this and is against it because they're an image. If she does this, there's bound to be some consequence from the agency. To which she'll join Mio's. Much like she did Shinobu, she's possibly throwing away fuckboi and that agency to pursue her enjoyment of guavure. Though it's also possible she won't think of him at all in these next two chapters.

As others have pointed out, it seems like the focus of the last two chapters will be of Shinobu, Sakura and Fumi. Shinobu likely going to have to be picking one or the other.

Seems we're all in agreement that Sakura will at the very least end up in Mio's new agency. There won't be any consequences from Sakura's agency though since they proposed it to her, maybe from fucboi but we'll have to see if he even makes another appearance. I don't even care if we get an on panel breakup just focus and Shinobu Sakura reunion ffs.

He doesn't even know sakura is doing the same x scene and hasn't thought about her at all nor been in contact with her or anyone around her. But with how things are going there was a time skip somewhere in there we picked up where shinobu left off but not Sakura. It's obvious that shinobu picked up on fumi comparing herself to Sakura well I think he did he isn't the type of person to give fumi ultimatums but she doesn't need that she needs reassurance he is over sakura. Let's see if that happens Sakura seems over him for the most part.

I think the reunion can only happen during a possible timeskip; I don't see it happening in the manga's current timeline.

I think Sakura will agree to film the sex scene at her current agency (she's still under contract anyway). The playboy will go crazy and break up with her. After doing the sex scene, Sakura's image will deteriorate in the eyes of her current company, and only then will she reach out to Mio's agency.

In the end, as I was hoping, it seems fuckboi couldn't keep her happy as he said he would.

But this reunion definitely needs to happen. It's gotta happen next chapter. Though I can see it being near the end as a means of being a cliffhanger.

What I can't figure out is that comment Fumi made in regards to Sakura. It was out of left field. She said she understood when Shinobu first brought her up at her place but now she suddenly doesn't? I just can't think of what they're planning to do with her in that regard with just 2 chapters left.

If writers use plot convenience and are extra lazy they can just make it the same one even thought it shouldn't be if we look at the timing. Shinobu's thoughts are being partially hidden here if it doesn't pertain to his movie so we can't say he's fully over Sakura or not. Sakura is still thinking about Shinobu, albeit not romantically but things can change dramatically once they meet and have a confrontation.

Fumi has officially been with Shinobu for probably just a few days, and she knows that he once had deep feelings for Sakura. Perhaps she feels she hasn't been able to replace Sakura's memory yet and is becoming impatient.

I'll take a renunion cliffhanger if that's all we're offered but that'd be so lame. Fucboi's idea of her being happy was probably being with him, seggs, and better career opportunities. The Fumi comment on Sakura at the end of the conversation was extremely out of character to me at that point and intended by writers to mirror the fuckboiXSakura relationship hitting some speedbumps on the other side. With this they can effectively do whatever they need to in the last two chapters to achieve their intended outcome, for example Fumi could be overcome by the Sakura's shadow and decide to break things off with Shinobu.

That or her reaction will differ greatly on what Shinobu picks. But again I just don't know. As I said she's willing to do whatever it takes for Shinobu's movie to be a success even if she isn't an actress. But I just can't come up with a possibility of what could happen lol
Sorry @VuongOuki could you send this response again? I don't know if this is happening to anyone else but some responses I see are just in random other languages that isn't the superior English. My work signal is not letting me download the Vietnamese language pack fast enough to translate this response lol

Unless they run into each other by accident and considering that Sakura and Mio already ran into each other by accident, I highly doubt that will happen in Chapter 135; I don't see the characters wanting to meet up, especially Shinobu

135 really is going to be unpredictable, but a loose prediction I'd make is that while Fumi is now at home sulking as shown on the end panel, its the perfect opportunity for Shinobu and Sakura to conveniently run into one another if the chapter picks up from the exact same night.
