GraPara! - Ch. 134 - By Strip, You Mean…?

@SS-2010 There's an odd TL difference between the "Official" 134 TL, compared to the reddit one. One on reddit has Sakura calling fucboi "Yuma-san" vs the one posted on this site dropping the honorific, weird. Depending on how you look at it this is usually dismissed as not a big detail, but in this case I feel like it is. I've gone over the raw JP and Sakura does indeed call him Yuma-san with the honorific and everything (suggesting a bit more distance in their relationship) so interesting choice by the official TL to just drop honorifics like that, but I guess its not too rare. Another interesting note is that she was using the "-kun" honorific for fucboi in ch 128 as well.

Ryusei fucks around a ton but he doesn't seem like an all-bad character, I'd be surprised if plays any role in this final stretch. If we're assuming the finale is centered around Shinobu Fumi and Sakura, then I'm curious if we get an expanded supporting cast and if they'll be active like Mio. Chico showing up would be nice for the energy, Nagi for a redemption attempt but I think Mio overlaps with her role and does it better, fucboi will probably make another appearance or two (won't say no to an off-screen disappearing act), and please no blonde playing wingwoman again to fix the fucboiXSakura relationship.

For Grapara, I now strongly agree with those asking for chapter 129 to be redrawn or revised. I do not want Grapara to become the first romantic comedy manga in the history that the heroine was raped and subsequently viewed by readers as a villain.

Airi Katsura (sensei) destroyed Grapara, caused social unrest and ruined her own reputation as well as social status.

She should undergo a psychiatric evaluation and receive treatment. I believe her mental state is not stable enough for manga work. People might not notice anything amiss in her doujinshi works because they were normally nonsensical manga. But we can see her problem from an ordinary manga like Grapara.

IMHO, first correct the chapter 129 of Grapara. Second, bring Airi Katsura (sensei) to see the doctor.

At the very least, after further letting it stew and listening to other's opinions, I am 90% sure that Sakura won't end with fucboi still (please don't let them make-up). She will at least be single and this will help clean up a bit of her image.

I think we'll more Shinobu x Sakura x Fumi drama and other charaters that can appear is Fuckboi or Mio.

The last page of 134 suggested that fuckboi is not relevant anymore for the story.And i'm 90% sure that the break up will happen.

I saw the JP comments and i never saw a FMC be that hated like Sakura is hated.She is the most hated character by miles and Fuckboi comes in second.

They stalled out her redemption too long, and now the window is nearly closed because of the axing, it will take a miracle but they have been making small efforts to set it up still so I'd like to see what the writers and artist together can do. Even if we agree that KA is a bad and weird writer/creator I find it hard to believe she will end this manga with cover girl being abandoned to the hate.

They will probably be alone when they meet, I really doubt KA will end this manga leaving fucboiXSakura as is. Also going to -kun to -san suggest the relationship became more distant I think.

Everyone is mad but it's important to note these details that could end up mattering. We have two chapters to see an ending so this won't be dragged out much longer.
