That's the werid part. There's only two chapters left so is the plan to have Sakura become further "fallen" by doing a sex scene with man #4? Airi's recent X actitivy has been scoring pretty high on the thirst meter. I think everyone is correct in their prediction that Sakura takes the offer, but there's a still part of me that thinks it has a small chance to mean something else. What Sakura's resolved to do here isn't necessarily "I'm going to accept this sex scene offer!" but rather "I'm going to give it my best to prove that my 'values' aren't wrong (gravure?)" which could still lead to former.
Agree, if we've 10 chapters left, just draw it. But we've only 2 chapters left, it's so precious to waste with the sex scene while the main story has no conclusion at all. If Sakura won't meet Shinobu, the time skip will be used and they will not meet till the end.

If you’ve been following our discussion along, you’ll see we’ve stated that her future in mainstream manga is over. However, we believe she’ll continue to do well with her doujin work.

Now, she has lost her reputation in the mainstream manga industry and can no longer hold her head high in that circle. From now on, her fame will be limited to the doujin community.

The most she could realistically do in the manga industry is produce a third version of Karami Zakari by having someone else handle the actual work since it would be difficult for her to find collaborators willing to work with her directly.

She really must go to see a doctor. Her behavior is like a ten-year-old girl. It’s not normal for someone over thirty to talk and act so childishly such as bragging and boasting, then cowering in fear the moment she encounters someone who is truly knowledgeable or holds real authority.

I’m not being sarcastic. I’m genuinely concerned. If she gets a treatment soon, it's possible to have a full recovery. The longer she leaves it, the harder it will be cured.
I really doubt she will be blacklisted in any way Japan puts a value on creative freedom so I don't want them blacklisting authors because people didn't like how the story ended up even if I personally hate the way things went down in 128 -129. We have enough shit to deal with.

I noticed that after rereading the chapter that he didn't hear her say that so he doesn't know she is comparing herself to what sakura would do granted sakura would take the role and fuck the guy on accident for shionbu.

The bare minimum I'm expecting is a cliffhanger reunion moment at the end of 135 but this is still way too lame (especially with another break til 136), if they pick right up from the ending of this chapter I think they could swing a freak accident meeting thru Mio intervention. Time skip I feel like they shouldn't do again until the epilogue since they already played that card once.

I hope it's not both Sakura and Fumi.

In my opinion, GraPara got canceled precisely because of ch. 129. Following the massive fan backlash after ch. 129, which only escalated in ch. 130, Kodansha clearly rushed to do 'damage control'—leaving the nature of the playboy and Sakura's relationship ambiguous and abnormally fast-tracking Shinobu and Fumi's sex scene. Yet, fans only seemed to detest Sakura even more. On top of that, Airi appeared to be so heavily restricted that she lost all inspiration to keep going with GraPara, which ultimately led to the series getting axed.
Well I just looked it up and depending on the contract, the publisher has some level of control of chatacter rights and serialization rights.

They may have the authority to stop KA from making a Grapara doujin if they view it as potentially damaging the public image, they typically don't stop authors and its more of a gray area, but they possibly can. If KA really said FU to Kodansha maybe they'll stop her.

You're cruel try to fool @whorainzone . LOL Pal, you're late because we've discussed it already, maybe on page 101-104. It's Airi Katsura (sensei)'s new work on Comiket August 2026 (you can notice she said about July is ending). Okey? LOL
I'm not late I was probably there when it was discussed but whorianzone seemed to need confirmation that that's what was said.

I don't expect it, but there is the 5% I give it due to to uncertainty (at least for me) that we won't be able to confirm until next week, but given the way it was drawn, shadows and finger detailing differences feel very different for GraPara! artist to pivot on now.....and also uh the boob detailing I guess.

If you read many Japanese comments before they're deleted or hidden, people said they'll stop reading Grapara and not consider her work again. (mostly comments on chapter 129 and some in 130)

Those comments that are not deleted will be, good job, I'll support your work, I'll buy the volume. LOL

We'll see what is fake and what is real. LOL

Even my friends said they'll stop buying the volume and collect only volume 01-11, before Yuma and Fumi appeared in chapter 103 and 104.

Anyway, it's Airi Katsura (sensei)'s life, she's the one who have to face it. She can't lie to herself or ask web admin to delete bad comments against her anymore.

I sure hope Airi doesn't plan to keep this pattern on X until the next chapter. Can't get enough baiting done in the manga anymore so it's time to do it on X.

This is the first time I see you are being too optimistic. Sadly, Japan isn't quite what you imagine. There are many ugly realities that would shock you if you truly got to know from the local Japanese people. Freedom is just a sweet word, not actual reality. Politicians are constantly meddling with manga artists. So sad.

For instance, there is prejudice against female manga artists and restrictions placed on their creative freedom, forcing many to conceal their identities.

Take the creator of Kimetsu no Yaiba as an example, once readers discovered she was a woman, the reaction was not proper. You can look up the details yourself. And as a result, she has been unable to release new work. Publishers also concern about it. Anyway, the world success of Kimetsu no Yaiba is more than enough for her to have only one big hit manga and spend the rest of her life with it.

Yes, this image appears to be drawn by the exact same artist, Keishi Nishikida.
The visual style in the panel matches his signature technique from the serialization of GraPara!. There are several specific artistic markers that strongly link this panel to his work: [1]
  • Line Work and Weight: The crisp, clean digital ink lines with subtle variations in weight—particularly around the soft curves of the fingers and skin—are identical to Nishikida's standard rendering. [1]
  • Shading and Gradients: He relies heavily on ultra-smooth, perfectly blended digital airbrush gradients to define the lighting on skin tone. The precise way the soft white highlights curve around the anatomy to give it a 3D sheen matches the ecchi aesthetics seen throughout GraPara! [1, 2, 3]
  • Anatomy and Detail Execution: The shape of the hands, the elongated fingers, and the highly specific way he details fingernails and skin folds under pressure are consistent with how he draws close-up interactions in the main series.
This level of stylistic matching aligns with the common practice where the series illustrator releases self-published R-18 spin-offs or "what-if" scenarios of their own characters to explore explicit content that couldn't be shown on the mainstream Magapoke platform. [1, 2]"

Didn't have chatgpt on phone so just ran through Gemini. Literally just gave it the picture from X and said "Is this drawn by the same artist who draws Grapara?"

Might've been better ways to word that inquiry. I don't think it needs to be that complicated, everyone should just run with the vibe they like until next week where we maybe find out.

Possible that it's wrong to. If it is grapara it's fumi or Sakura as I said we will find out soon enough.
