How satisfying would this be for so many readers but it should be out of character for shionbu.
My personal prediction is that Sakura tries to go back to Shinobu → she's rejected, being told it's too late → a true break. And then Sakura just kind of fades away. Something like that.

The plot threads involving Sakura's brother haven't been resolved, so I wonder if it's been cancelled.

Maybe but this ending should let her off the hook for everything.
After breaking up with Shinobu, Sakura realized how much she had relied on him up until then. On the other hand, she must have also realized that Nakanishi, whom she had chosen as a replacement for Shinobu, was not the kind of person who would gently guide her on the right path like Shinobu was. In the end, she realized that she had to forge her own path through her own struggles, and I think that Sakura will live without relying on either Shinobu or Nakanishi from now on. So, if Sakura were to have the opportunity to meet Shinobu now, I think she would want to tell him the "thank you" and "goodbye" that followed the "we can't meet again" rather than wanting to get back together.

That should be interesting but Sakura is much smaller than fumi in the tity department plus the adeunce should think it's fumi so it shouldn't hurt sakura's career at all fumi should not take sakura doing the scene well who knows how shionbu should feel man the drama is really high if this were to come to fruition.
Three different perspectives... As the night deepens, does that mean Shinobu, Fumi, and Sakura are all on the same timeline? Is the theory that the film Sakura and Fumi were offered the sex scene in was ultimately the same Shinobu film now out of the question...? Did the producer anticipate that Shinobu wouldn't decide to have Fumi, who isn't an actress, undress, and therefore offered the role to Sakura first? Or was it double-cast from the start? lol
