It really was a nothingburger setup chapter, Mio saved the chapter for me though.

We have to trust in Kodansha and i have a gut feeling that they made some damage control for the ending like 132 and 133 was pure fanservice for the fans(only expection is making Sakura away worse than she is right now) and i think the Sakura and fuckboi break up will be also a damage control.

Hard to trust a site that is responsible for Destiny Lovers and Guilty Circle and a shit ton of NTR/Cheating manga lol.

Never watched beyond season 1, would Shinobu be considered a better MC than Kazuya? Might catch up on both after this disaster is wrapped.

He in the begging was way worse than Shinobu.Literally a big simp for the girls but after some seasons he gets a better.


In his defense he literally got sexual harrased by one of the girls(Ruka,that is his trial girlfriend)and when he wanted to reveal the truth to Chizuru's granny before she dies Chizuru literally said to not do that.And also got blackmailed by Mami(his first girlfriend),the only girls that save that is Sumi and Mini even if my favorite is Chizuru.

Chizuru is not so much better than him because like i said she didn't let her tell the truth to her own granny before she died and always avoided her feelings to Kazuya because she wants to be a actress.She reject him even if she loves him and on the next day she kissed Kazuya before he leaves.

For now in the manga Kazuya made some improvements like he is not much of simp that he was before,started go to gym and got a driver's license.

And Chizuru now is more aware of her feelings to Kazuya and want to face that now.They will have a date now and potential confession from both right now.

Reiji Miyajima(author of a rent a girlfriend) already confirmed that they will be together and he said he want to some chapters of they dating and getting married.

Not a fan of Guilty Circle, I've ready Destiny Lovers 1st half, didn't care for part 2 and I still don't know how I feel about, but it might've been closer to a waste of time if it wasn't for Tomohiro Kai for me.

I mean if i not wrong Destiny lovers they changed the NTR to a NTR bait after the hate they recieved.

And in guilty circle is not a romance and NTR was made by both parts so it was more understanble and that NTR that the FMC made in front of him was planned by both of them so it was only really unconfortable to see(people really hated that one too) and after that we only had some NTR baits and nothing more.

And i think Mangapoke does not have much NTR mangas in the site besides Grapapra and Guilty circle,the other one i remember is the manga version of Karami Zakari.NTR is not so popular in the mainstreaming.

The problem is that the story sometimes get a lot of loopings but for me the art of manga is one of best and Miyajima is really good to design characters here,the biggest reason to rent a girflriend be popular is because of the art and the girls in the story(mainly Chizuru)

Don't don't. IMO its one of the worst things ever made and Its confusing to me how its popular. The 2 main characters are absolutely awful. Kazuya is the ultimate simp and you literally have to watch him talk about how Chizuru is perfect EVERY chapter. Like ahe literally can do nothing wrong, and he talks about it every chapter.

Chizuru is incredibly selfish, someone did the math at some point and she took thousands of $$$ from Kazuya which made him not be able to afford tuition or something? She strings Kazuya along for years and literally runs away all the time. Selfish. Annoying.

This one is utter trash.

I dont really follow this close but isnt she so hated by everyone who is not a fan that they all call her Chorizo? Kind of like Slutkura.

The reactions on r/Manga from regular Manga readers and r/kanokori or whatever it's called are like night and day. You either like it or think its a pile of shit

Chizuru got his hate reduced and now at least she got some improvements like being honest with her feelings for Kazuya and ready to face him now but now is more Kazuya appearing in the story and we're seeing he doing things for himself like getting a new haircut,going to the gym and getting a drivers lincense.

the context of the rejection is because she wanted to focus on her dream to be a actress but we know she loves Kazuya.She even said that she had feelings for him

In the next chapter Chizuru had to be carried by Kazuya and she asked why he didn't give up and he said she could support her and still gonna love her even if he has to try more.And she got really flustered.

In the kiss chapter is literally important because it was where her feeling explode it and made her realize that she has to face these feelings properly.

For someone who does not read the story really looks she is stringing him alonng but several moments she suggested him to have a real girlfriend,she even made Ruka be his trial girlfriend and he told Mami(his-ex) about how he was hurt because of her and to her be more honest about her feelings to Kazuya(she still has feelings for Kazuya) and Kazuya was the one who never gave up about Chizuru.
