What I really want to know now is: what is this series' editor even doing? How did they let something like this make it through? They'd have to be incredibly incompetent to let the characters get ruined all over again.

And then there's Fumi suddenly acting completely out of character just to spite Shinobu—all because she saw him using the pen Sakura gave him, without even asking him about it first. The writing feels even more ridiculous than Chapter 128

The editor is on record as liking to see shionbu suffer. I probably won't be commenting on 135 at all will I be here for 136 maybe.

I think airi might be going for a BS ending were fumi sees that shinobi still has feelings for Sakura so she is doing this to push him away, he walks out the building in frustration, and then I guarantee the last chapter ends with shinobu and Sakura walking past and noticing each other, this is so stinky,EW,YUCKKK

At this point, not even a bittersweet, but the signature mean-spirited, cruel and spiteful Katsura special end.

Shinobu loses 2 girls and gets too traumatized he ends developing a fetish.

No romcom had done this shit with its MCs. Even Aitsu no Kanojo end gravitated towards bittersweet because MC at least had his kouhai by his side as some sort of life support (after the FeMC disappeared from his life, he fell into a spiral of despair and if not for the kouhai and her friend who decides to keep him constant company, he would have khs), but story was very specific about addictions, so in the end it was a kinda despair fueled end bc it's hinted Aitsu's MC would relapse into wanting to die if he reads that letter or picks that unknown caller call.

Even Boy's abyss, who, despite of the dark generational trauma, misery porn, dark side of the showbiz and adult world could manage to land a sorta happy end for the MC and the (ex),idol (and gravure junior idol & CP actress), even if he lost almost all of his ties with the people he grew with inside the town.

Both Sakura and Shinobu have still been thinking about each other and there's not really any character development for him.

I won't be surprised if next chapter shows the Fumi/Actor sex scene then we cut to Shinobu looking depressed and he meets with Sakura.

Look sakura isn't leaving fuckboi there will not be a reunion between shinobu and Sakura let alone her learning any truth. I don't even care how it ends now I knew it was going to be disappointing and unsatisfying but damn it exceeded my expectations on that front.

Or Sakura will be living happily with Yuma after She actually talks with him and they work through there issues, something she never did with Shinobu. The She will never see him again.

Shinobu will be lonely and sad but Successful director and Fumi wont be with him. The last page will be Shinobu turning on the TV watching one of Sakuras movies with a blank expression. The end.
