I also don't see a world where they will end together and so I hope KA doesn't either, whether she wants to spite fans/publisher or not for what's happened please just do the "proper" ending versus one warped by an emotional reaction to the backlash of her own choices.
Let me put this in a funny legalistic way for you about the cucboy's punishment.

In my country, you have to file a police report within 3 months of being raped. But in Japan, if I recall correctly, it’s 10 years!

So, the punishment for cucboy as if he knows the law is to live in fear for a whole decade, wondering whether Sakura will report the rape or not. LOL

And imagine if there will be an epilogue that he actually gets reported by Sakura and it becomes big news. His reputation is ruined and he goes to jail (probably for about 3 years), effectively destroying his career in the entertainment industry. LOL

If Airi Katsura (Sensei) actually dared to write something like that, she wouldn't just be insane but she’d be a true legend of the Japanese manga world. LOL.

I wouldn't overthink it. The "rape" was simply the easy way to get Sakura to leave Shinobu. The more conventional way to handle the cheating would have been to have someone seduce Sakura, but that would have taken longer and been more complicated for Airi. It also wouldn't have given her the opportunity to play with the question of whether Sakura still has feelings for Shinobu.

For Katsura Airi, sex seems to be a tool for pushing the plot in whatever direction she wants. For example, Fumi has doubts, so she gets naked; Sakura regrets what she did with the director, so she has sex with Shinobu...

And as for the consequences of rape, in Karami Zakari there are two attempted rapes and one actual rape, and practically nothing came of them. So I don't think Airi is particularly interested in exploring the consequences of these situations either.
Agree with your good analysis.

But the point of criticism raised even by fellow doujin creators is that the storytelling style used in doujinshi cannot simply be applied to mainstream manga.

That's why I said Airi Katsura (sensei) is mentally ill because only insane people do anything that pops up in their head without considering whether it's coherent, whether it's inappropriate, whether it's illegal, whether it's immoral, etc.

So sad Kodansha let a person who is sick continue working and cause trouble for society.

Yuma’s conversation is even funnier when you realize his actions apparently only became a problem after Sakura decided to do a sex scene.

While Yumakura seems like a couple on the outside, it’s probably more that only sakuras body is attracted to Yuma

My personal opinion: on the one hand, I get the feeling that Katsura Airi, as a writer, has a pretty small toolbox. She relies on sex to justify practically everything: the plot, the twists, and even the characters' motivations.

So I think Kodansha's support makes perfect sense. Her work seems very focused on making money: good artwork and lots of sex. I don't think she's "corrupting" society; she's simply giving the audience what they want.

How much of Grapara!'s appeal really comes from its story and characters, and how much comes from its erotic content?

Agree. But you didn't forget that Keishi Nishiikida sensei is the illustrator while Airi Katsura (sensei) is only the author of the story? So the beautiful art is because the KN sensei's so good at it, not because of AK (sensei).

AK (sensei) didn't intend to ruin the society but she's insane, so she did everything without thinking it. And the outcome was bad. Who will think that only chapter 129 caused so much trouble with the pre-order of volume 13 which becomes a rare item? LOL

Bros, we'll separate in two weeks and I'm worried about the way you hurt yourself with your own imagination. But it's your life and I'm not your parent anyway. So, I'll provide you some information to be considered.

First, Metamorphosis was originally created and self-published by Shindo L. as an independent "doujinshi," and was later published as a serialized manga and printed in volumes by comic publishers like Comic X-Eros. More importantly, Shindo L. is one of the well-known artist for dark comics, quite famous for its depressing storyline such as Sarashi Ai, Junai Irregulars, TSF Monogatari, etc.

So, readers know from the start what they're reading and don't have to be afraid of being betrayed as Grapara which is a manga with a genre "love comedy".

Grapara manga is a fraud but Metamorphosis doujinshi is not.

Please focus on the differences between "doujinshi" and "manga" as well as the genre "hentai" of Metamorphosis and the genre "love comedy" of Grapara.

Second, Sakura didn't go to cucboy's room with the intention to have sex. She just reported him that his suspicion about Shinobu's cheating was true but didn't expect to meet him. She was surprised to see him at the train station !

She just followed him to his room, she didn't call him and ask him to take her to his room. She didn't undress herself. She only lied down and let the cucboy did whatever he wanted like Nagi did. I remember @Alsatia told us about this before many times but many of you don't want to accept it or try to forget it. I'm not a feminist but I have a little sense of justice. LOL

That's why the author (I suspect it's
Keishi Nishikida sensei now, not Airi Katsura (sensei) anymore, because he never asked for supporting Grapara but he did on 27 July 2026 by his X about "Kachiwari" character) brought Nagi, because Nagi also laid down and said "do whatever you want" at first before licking Topy's dick after that as she's in the mood.

I also beleive that Nagi and Mio in chapter 132 and 133 was not in the main plan but it's inserted to be the "
damage control" as you guys have mentioned. So sad, it failed so the Grapara was cut short.

Volume sales may not be important to AK (sensei) but it's important to KN sensei. But sorry, we can't help KN sensei because it means we are supporting AK (sensei) who should be in a hospital, not to cause trouble to society. I'm not angry at AK (sensei), I believe she needs to see the doctor.

Life is too short. We all can be upset many times but please don't stay with them too long. Just do something instead to throw them away...

I myself read the other truly romcom mangas especially about the manga artist to cure myself from
Grapara. LOL

If you like
erotic rom-com manga , I recommend Deliheal Yondara Moto Doukyuusei ga Kita at https://yanmaga.jp/comics/デリベル呼んだら元同級生が来/ (free reading until 14 August 2026, JP time).

Or if you like an
ecchi romcom manga, I recommend Kakunaru Ue wa (Now That We Draw) at https://mangadex.org/title/356de811-ae92-48f1-b93b-cfdf0f8d02e4/kakunaru-ue-wa/

Last, though we'll be apart, my writings will still on MangaDex Forums even if I die. So you guys can read them and earn benefits from them (if any. LOL) as long as MangaDex Forums exist. But it's better to skip the ones that I just made jokes ridiculously. LOL

Bless you. Please take care of yourselves.

P.S. Thank you. @box2024 @diphuc1 @Alsatia @VuongOuki @jonasadan @Jhon1617 @Apollo_Ibis @baabaaboo @hugorito420 @kisanma @A.Tanakaaa @Dirigibull @Cross-21- @whorainzone @Des0 @CaioAUTReal @Orpheus7 and friends I didn't mention (sorry). LOL

I think the damage is already done; sales for Volume 13 are very, very low. I don't even want to imagine what sales will be like for Volume 14, which features the NTR scene. A lot of the readers who were following the manga have already given up on it, and the few who remain are only continuing to read it to find out how it ends. In my opinion, they’d be really stupid if they don’t take steps within these next 10 days to mitigate the damage in the final chapter—the sales failure of Volume 13 is already a given. I’m sure Chapter 136 has already been written and illustrated by the artist, ready for publication. I HOPE THEY REVIEW IT THOROUGHLY OVER THE NEXT 10 DAYS.

They'll probably give it some extra attention and uh polish since it's the last chapter. I had some expectations for 135 since it had extra time but it ended up being a chapter that created more problems. Whether 135 was a needed setup for 136 we'll find out.

Funny that this is the second time it happens to us, it was the same in 132, we think the possible reunion of Nagi and Sakura would be good and it only brought more problems hahahaha

Yea I really wasn't expecting things to go in the direction it did, granted it pushed Sakura to go more into the sex scene (and hopefully further from Fuckboi).

While it's fun to speculate, at this point for me it's cope speculation. Go Harem ending!!!

I think Kodansha—and especially Katsura—had a distorted view of reality XD and really believed that the damage from Chapter 129 wouldn’t be that bad and wouldn’t affect sales of Volume 13. I think they’ll have time to reflect on this—or at least I hope so. Especially knowing that if Volume 13’s sales are a flop, how will that affect sales of Volume 14, which features the NTR?

Ah that old saying sex sells will be true no matter what.
