I've heard that many people stop collecting Graprara at volume 11 (chapter 98-107) which is a smart solution. So, volume 12-14 never exist for them. No one collect the volume they don't want to read it again, right? LOL

IMHO, the only win-win solution for everyone is to revise the chapter 129 "just" for making the volume 14.

Airi Katsura (sensei) already generates substantial revenue from Karami Zakari but Keishi Nishikida sensei likely relies heavily on volume sales from Grapara and would presumably be willing to make adjustments if doing that could revive sales for volumes 14 and 13.

Kodansha have no right to change the original chapter 129 but they can reject making the volume 14 or even take legal action if they can't make the volume 14.

Kodansha has full right to force AK (sensei) to change the chapter 129 just for making the volume 14.

So, the chapter 129 in volume 14 can be different from the original chapter 129 like the manga and its anime version have different endings.

Agree on the part of them not changing, it's a bygone.

I don't think we need to settle for the worst possible ending, bit overly defeatist. Better to word it as being prepared like many are at this point but not necessarily resigning yourself to it.

Come to think of it, I can trust Keishi Nishikida, who gets 50% of the manga's profits and doesn't have a “golden goose” like Katsura or Karami Zakari. It's even possible that Keishi Nishikida is writing the last three chapters and chapter 136 as part of damage control, which is why these latest chapters feel strange and disjointed.

Come to think of it, I can trust Keishi Nishikida, who gets 50% of the manga's profits and doesn't have a “golden goose” like Katsura or Karami Zakari. It's even possible that Keishi Nishikida is writing the last three chapters and chapter 136 as part of damage control, which is why these latest chapters feel strange and disjointed.

I'd trust the artist a bit more than Airi for now, and their 50/50 split of ownership should imply KA can't go full scorched earth type ending one would think, but we'll see. Chapter's have definitely been inconsistent.

That is slowly becoming a clusterfuck... latest cliffhanger is the one everyone is cheering to be the final girl about to be defiled by a fat human turd and Rika (the wife) talking as if this is the big revenge on her for daring to get close to her husband. Also, a small factor was introduced that may change all the assumptions build over 93 chapters.
It can still end as an hell of a manga and I will buy all the tanks, or it may end up as a huge groan for all the fandom...

I mean, how much is KZ still yielding these days? Even if there is a stream of income from sales, are the odd doujin and volume sales of the manga version provide enough to make a living?
