I feel like Sakura was supposed to be the original ending considering the bullshit Airi said in her previous interviews about gain after pain and hurdles in relationships and whatnot but they never expected this much hate that Sakura would get (which is quite braindead on their part ngl) so they might've shifted to Fumi just to boost the last volume sales a little. There aren't enough panels for a satisfying and conclusive Sakura ending, so it might just be shinobu stopping fumi in that scene and then washing away her insecurities. Sakuras future might even be kept ambiguous and she might not get that much screentime aprt from her breaking with ikeman.

BUT, this all considering they care about the readers, which, considering the past few chapters and how they handled the criticism for 129, I HAVE LITTLE TO NO HOPE.

It's very likely that Katsura only had the script up to chapter 129; he just wanted to indulge his stupid NTR fetish. After that, he didn't plan how to continue the story; now he's improvising.

You're correct about the overhearing, it was only the tail end of the conversation and Sakura misread the context as a result. Fucboi's regretful, or better to say doubtful now because Sakura's become somewhat "unchained" after her chat with Mio, and the fact that even after an entire month he was unable to convince her to not take that offer.

The thing about shinobu quitting as her manager not twisted too much. Shinobu knew that his capabilities were limited. After all he’s just a single guy. And he knew that if Sakura were to join an agency that would be the best for her acting career. that was the only thing they were actually (semi) honest about.
