I heard that the reason the author of Illicit love tryed to make the guy that ruins relationship's by drugging and rapeing women into the guy to root for is because she made the pornwha to get back at the man that broke up with he, she based the mc off of her ex and the mc wife that got drugged and raped by the ntr guy is based on her ex new love she even went as far as to based their looks on their real life self's and used their real name thats how much the author hated the two and I also heard that the author got into trouble and lost her job and that the work is most likely owned by a different person now

I heard that Illicit love was originally going to end with the ntr guy going to ruin more relationship's the three main female characters were going to have a mental break down because they realized that they love the mc only to found out that the mc killed himself and the mc was not the father of their kids, then the Publisher's forced the author to completely change the plot

Insane scenario and if true certainly darker. Honestly though, even though it's less dark can't say what we got was better. Do prefer that they just go complete villain with blonde rather than trying to make him sympathetic at the end and give him his golden parachute to happiness.

I think if they made way more chapters with her and Iemori,i would gladly accept the ending because i liked all the 3 girls.The problem she is the least developed with Iemori,and it felt way too forced.

And she wasn't even childhood friends because they meet in the ending of middle school.And i didn't even fell the romantic moments with them.For me by far the one who had tge msot romantic moments was Himari and their dynamic was the best one in the manga.I think he tried to do a suprise factory writing but i failed in execution.

For me one example of a childhood friend that made sense was Yotsuba(many people will hate me for that) because she was the one that supported Fuutaro since day 1 and she was willing to sacrifise her love ther the sister's and Fuutaro hapiness.And unlike Honoka she was Fuutaro's first love when they meet each other as kids.

I see. So your "development" means the relationship between Iemori and any girl, not the personal development of each character. But sorry, I still disagree because the romantic development of Iemori and Honoka has become stronger and stronger, enough for Iemori to realize his own feelings.

It's understandable why you got a wrong analysis because you forgot that Iemori had known Honoka since their second year of junior high (middle school), not just right before graduation. Honoka had a secret crush on him for a whole year till she found a chance to talk to him while cleaning the blackboard at the end of their 2nd year of middle school.

After that, they spent a whole year to become close friends (4 people) till she's sad that he missed the snow school trip. In conclusion, they've been close friends for 3 years before Himari came to this story! They just can't confess their feelings while the other 2 close friends in their group, who also ended up together at the end of the story, already knew this secret. LOL

(The reason I remember details of any manga because I normally read them 5-10 chapters at a time, not just read chapter by chapter. Though I always forgot the characters' names, I remember their stories and what they did. LOL)

IMHO, the author had given her enough scenes to make Iemori consider his real feeling for her. Please do not neglect the scene when they're at the sensei's house, when they visit old school, when they studied together, when they compensated the school trip, etc. So, I understand why many comments (just on MangaPlus) didn't want her to lose. (They have so many moments you forgot but the other reader were not.) LOL

Himari’s mistake was declaring from the start that she wouldn't like him, only to change her mind later. So sad. Had she not shut that door initially, she might have stood a chance. However, as Iemori was forbidden from loving her from the very beginning, falling for her would mean a lack of professionalism in his cleaning job. Unfortunately for Himari, Iemori is a highly responsible person so he didn't dare let his feelings for her grow beyond friendship. So sad.

The only person I truly feel sorry for is Kanna because she's bright and clear about her feelings from the start. She also gets along well with Iemori's little sister and the story would be better if she becomes a neighbor or live very close to his house. Her screen time was very very limited (I wanted more) though understandably that she is a high school junior, not in the same grade as the others, so she had very few opportunities to see Iemori. So sad.

Hima-ten is not my favorite manga so I forget characters' names. LOL I stopped reading it when I felt the plot is a boring NTR like More than a married couple but not lovers manga that locked the FMC already.

I came back to read it after it ends and read the previous chapters to understand how the story reached this point. It's a rush ending but it's not boring for me as the FMC was not locked. And the ending like this makes Iemori come across as a truly good person who is steadfast in love.

BTW, I don't read the manga about that Yotsuba so I didn't feel anything. Thanks a lot to @Cross-21- 's spoiler that save me from reading it. LOL

And the only reason you would be for her in the beginning is just for liking her looks, her personality and actions are nothing to write about for most of the show... I still think Miku deserved the win, and i'll die on that hill lol

For instance, the blonde's final words in Grapara chapter 135 was to tell cucboy to stop messing around with Sakura but the English translation in MangaDex made it sound like she was encouraging him to work things out!

That’s why, whenever I have doubts, I check the original Japanese text to see what was actually written.

So, My First Sex Friend, both FMC and MC have extensive experiences in sex-related work, so they are both incredibly skilled in having sex from the start of the series.

LIke i said i understand the choice but i still think that was rushed and lacked impact moments to make this a convincing couple.For me Iemori wasn't forbbiden to fall in love with Himari and he was questioning himself in the last couple of chapters about his fellings towards Himari.

The story spend 70%/80% building Himari and Iemori moments,and most of his development(not all)was because of Himari's help and the same we can say about Iemori helping in Himari's development.

Most of people on social media hate it,on mangaplus we had many people hating it,on X and reddit it was almost unanimous that they disliked the ending.Because they hated the writing but not the character.

I remember most of this moments but i don't think it was impacful enough to make any significant development in my opinion.Their development for me was kinda shallowed.

And Kanna was the classic losing heroine and we knew she would lose since the beginning.

I'm not agaisnt Honoka ending but it should have take 10-15 chapters to make this a solid one.

Why the author put the title "Hima-Ten!",it would be better if it was called "Hono-Ten!".(i know it is about their development as individuals)

And about Yotsuba topic,i still think that the choice made sense.

I still think Yotsuba was the choice that made most sense.Her development was way more subtle than the others but it was foreshadowed since the beginning she would be the winner after we see everything.

She was the one who supported Fuutaro about the teaching the girls and the only one who didin't oppose about having his classes.And she was the most selfless from all the 5 sisters because she literally tried to sacrifise her love for the sake of her sisters hapiness.

And we have the most important thing,that is she is Fuutaro first love when they were kids so it was a huge factor to her being the chosen one.
