First of all, the MC is in love with her; if she wanted to tie him down, she just had to give him her virginity, like the other one did. That story's logic is very weird,if she loves him,she should have take the iniciative but now she will pontentially lose him and i don't know if she sees the friend that way,so it only could be out of spite.
