I guess the point was to be funny?😂Yujiro killing the guy he forced into the tournament and crushed someone else to get there. I just don't get what was the point of Amanai if this is the end result
Yeah, it almost feels like the author is struggling to fully commit to the setting he himself crafted. Like he had this really cool, bad ass, edgy, and extremely Anti Shounen concept in his head but at the last minute he had to tone almost everything down for some reasonIt's kinda silly that this manga is based around the premise of "no rules fighting" to try to find out who is the absolute strongest, but also both the fighters and fight organizers try to avoid killing. The whole reason combat sports have rules is to try and avoid death or serious injury, so you would expect true no-rules fighting to just be an exhibition of stuff that kills, maims or disables your opponent as quickly as possible, like eye-gouging, neck-breaking, biting out the neck, attacking while they're down, stuff that just indisputably stops the victim immediately. Instead all the fighters are super respectful and use sports or self-defense techniques and try to make their opponents give up lol. Yuujiro is really the only one who embraces the spirit of "no rules".
The manga is mainly about martial arts and how strong it could be, the whole no rules thing is just so any martial arts or fighting style could be used. Also everyone in this manga isn't that psychotic, so they just want to beat there opponents untill they can't fight anymore, killing them would be unnecessary and cruel.Yeah, it almost feels like the author is struggling to fully commit to the setting he himself crafted.
