Firstly - big thanks to Silas for translating this!

Now the negativity; is it just me or is the rushed pacing of this arc making these villains hard to care about?

I have no sense of dread or menace, partially because aside from them being a team of women that have vague plans for the ring - we got nothing to go on.

Not planing to drop, especially with the end looming in the distance, but after the set up of meeting Snow's parents it seems the writing got bored and threw in "secret lady group with evilness" and then got bored with that...

Funny that he makes a Striker instead of a Saiga, considering that he knows how to make AKs, and Saiga’s effectively a shotgun-sized AK.

and afaik striker is ass in terms of reload since you have to rotate the drum manually with a knob that's infront of the mag(?) and insert the slug 1-1.

Yep. It’s essentially a shotgun-sized gate-loading revolver. Non-detachable mags are cheaper and easier to make, but gate-loading is ass and that’s why all revolvers post-ww1 switch to swing-open loading; that tech is from the cowboy era, so 1800s.
