Also this is interesting given her interactions with Sulfur, puts some of that in a new light. Guess they were actually kind of mirrors of each other all along. It shouldn't be surprising that there'd never really be a "no-star" and that there could be those on the dark side as well hiding their real strength (Utena isn't hiding, she's just a dynamic-type), but it's still nicely done.

Yet another fail but Lord and her group too, why ever expect forces of darkness to be upfront honorable rather then sneaky deceptive? Maybe it's because they fought magical girls straight up so much that they fell into the pattern of reacting to all enemies that way, but once again their conception of "evil" looks pretty shallow vs Baiser and the other three. Can't wait to see what Vena plans out of all this as well.

Not gonna lie, but the pacing of the series is getting pretty bad. Feels like it got axed and the author is just rushing to the conclusion. Not much character development recently, or even silly slice of life moments. Utena has barely grown as a character and the sudden introduction of new baddies detract from the series strongest points.

I mean the beginning of the chapter set the stage for some downtime, but now we are rushing the endgamr to defeat the final big bad all of a sudden.
