I think it is a necessary part as it spark her conflict on culture difference, in if they continue to do that for the show is on the table or not is not my part to say.

I know it was to setup the plot quickly, but it felt like things moved super fast in this chapter. The instantaneous banishment, without any politicking, along with the elder alluding to some resurrection all felt. Almost a little fast.

I would have liked a couple chapters at least of just fuckin' around before we learn of the miasma and whatever. Hopefully the pacing slows down in the future but I'm all in for cute elf mage OL going on a foodie tour.

I hope she can get her companion to join her in eating meat. And maybe they should kiss.
