Hmm. Wonder if the Spirit King is implying Anna won't be the Saint for very long. His message to Rachel being a nudge that once Anna crashes out he'll be back to bless Rachel as the new Saint.

I would love, LOVE, if the story turned the cliche on its head and had the saintess, the reincarnatior, be someone willing to say “whoops this is a real world not a game and I should face it properly” before a crash-out.

We…. Maybe… got that as her goal from her apology to Rachel on the rooftop. I’m hopeful. I don’t expect it to happen. But I’m hopeful.

I too hope that the story doesn't turn to the cliche reincarnator who gets in the way of the two of them.

At this point i more interested in Anne POV of story rather than Rachel POV, she is currently a hella boring one for me.

She has an EXTREMELY JUSTIFIABLE reason for acting how she does compared to 99.5% of 'heroines' in her situation.
