If you read the spin-off, it's clear that there is no "real" or "fake." She was a reincarnation in both timelines. It's as the Spirit King says: the difference is in which memories are sealed, her memories of Japan or her memories of this life.Ok, so what we know of the saintess:
1. She's obviously some japanese reincarnated person, and the premise of this world is a game.
2. The "real" Anna is sealed in. When did this happen, we don't know.
3. The fake-Anna IS attracted to the prince, but somehow has come to the conclusion that the "game" world has changed.
4. She apologized to Rachel in a previous chapter for what had transpired. I would guess that this is her coming to the realization that the world isn't just game set pieces.
5. In this chapter the spirit king or whatever, is aware that she's not the real-Anna, but gifted her anyway under the condition that whatever it is she needs it for, it cannot be harmful.
6. "Makoto" seems to be someone important to fake-Anna.
So....is she good? bad? neither?

basically she is one soul but have two memories and personality? so instead being merge of both memories and personality, it become split personality, like hyde and Jekyll? when one awaken, the other one is sleep/sealed.If you read the spin-off, it's clear that there is no "real" or "fake." Neither. She's DESPERATE, is what she is. She wants to go the hell home before she suffers ego death and that's it. She knows full damn well that Rachel doesn't deserve her manipulations or any trickery, hence the apologies, but desperate people will do things they don't really want to, so...while she'll try to blunt the damage to Rachel, she'll do what is needed to go home.
Thank you for the chapter!
I am both happy and worried that Anna became the saint. I hope she doesn't go back to bothering Rachel...
External reading is spoilers, . Do not expect people in the main story to have access to it.-snip-
It's translated content by the same group. You can call it spoilers if you want, but it's absolutely accessible. It's literally been advertised on the last page of every chapter since Doghouse picked up both.External reading is spoilers, . Do not expect people in the main story to have access to it.
I will concede my error about accessibility, but my statement still stands. It's translated content by the same group. You can call it spoilers if you want, but it's absolutely accessible. It's literally been advertised on the last page of every chapter since Doghouse picked up both.
