Ok, so what we know of the saintess:

1. She's obviously some japanese reincarnated person, and the premise of this world is a game.
2. The "real" Anna is sealed in. When did this happen, we don't know.
3. The fake-Anna IS attracted to the prince, but somehow has come to the conclusion that the "game" world has changed.
4. She apologized to Rachel in a previous chapter for what had transpired. I would guess that this is her coming to the realization that the world isn't just game set pieces.
5. In this chapter the spirit king or whatever, is aware that she's not the real-Anna, but gifted her anyway under the condition that whatever it is she needs it for, it cannot be harmful.
6. "Makoto" seems to be someone important to fake-Anna.

So....is she good? bad? neither?

If you read the spin-off, it's clear that there is no "real" or "fake." She was a reincarnation in both timelines. It's as the Spirit King says: the difference is in which memories are sealed, her memories of Japan or her memories of this life.

The spinoff of this manga focuses on Anna and gives a bit more backstory and context even if that series plays out like an alternate timeline and not just this story from another perspective.

From the best of my recollection (this may spoil some aspects of this story, so be forewarned. I also can't guarantee this isn't mixed with other spoilers from the source LN/WN because I had that spoiled for me too and what info came from where is mixed up in my brain now.):

1) Yes, she's a Japanese girl reincarnated into this world, which was an Otome game she played.
2) The real/original Anna's personality is there, but covered up/overwritten by the emergence of the reincarnator girl's memories and personality.
3) She's not actually attracted to the prince. The issue that the spirit king brings up is that her memories of her past life are slowly fading away the longer she spends in this world. This answers (6), but Makoto is a boy she liked in her old life and regretted not confessing to. I believe that she isn't thinking that she's died and been reborn, but more like her mind is trapped in this world and like finishing a game to be able to move on to something else, she believes that if she completes the game's story she'll be released and can return to her old life to reunite with her family and Makoto. So she pursued the prince because that was a condition for victory in the game, where Anna Carol was the the protagonist player character. So she's worried and anxious about clearing the game scenario as quickly as possible because the longer it takes the greater the risk that she'll forget her game knowledge and, more importantly, her own past and sense of self.
4) Yeah, I think she is recognizing that this isn't just a game and that these people are every bit as real as she is, so she can't just treat Rachel like a villain because this version of Rachel is a decent person and doesn't deserve it.
5) I think so.
6) This was already addressed above in 3.

I also know some other things that were for sure spoiled from the LN/WN, but I won't get into those because they're more spoilery since they are, afaik, complete and total foreknowledge from the source material.

I wonder what Carol wants in this time.
Last time she reverted time to save the MC, what could it be now?

basically she is one soul but have two memories and personality? so instead being merge of both memories and personality, it become split personality, like hyde and Jekyll? when one awaken, the other one is sleep/sealed.

so in first timeline, Anna have current life personality and memories. in this second timeline, her past life memories and personality re-emerges and sealed the current one.

As the others have responded to the numbered questions, I'll respond to the last one.

Neither. She's DESPERATE, is what she is. She wants to go the hell home before she suffers ego death and that's it. She knows full damn well that Rachel doesn't deserve her manipulations or any trickery, hence the apologies, but desperate people will do things they don't really want to, so...while she'll try to blunt the damage to Rachel, she'll do what is needed to go home.

This is incredibly different from most stories in this genre. I like the fact that the 'main character' isn't some irredeemable douchebag, that was always really weird. She actually has a driving force besides 'ME MAIN CHARACTER ME CENTER OF UNIVERSE'

Thanks for all the replies, wasn't aware there was a spinoff.

Edit: just read the chapters available. Damn, real -Anna had Haru Urara vibes.

The bitch girl got off lightly being sent to a monestary.

So Theodore's contracted spirit is the spirit king huh.

Thank you for the chapter!
I am both happy and worried that Anna became the saint. I hope she doesn't go back to bothering Rachel...

The real problem wouldn't be Anna, it'd be other political actors trying to replace Rachel who no longer has magic power with 'saintess of light' for better public image for the prince.

It's translated content by the same group. You can call it spoilers if you want, but it's absolutely accessible. It's literally been advertised on the last page of every chapter since Doghouse picked up both.
I will concede my error about accessibility, but my statement still stands.

There's a clear difference though between saying "the spin-off explains this in chapter so-and-so" vs "here is what happens in the series that's not the one we're in the discussion section of".

At the very least, place it behind a spoiler tag, or blurred, so that it's not immediately readable.

honestly didn't expect her to summon any spirit at all but i'm glad we got a good bit of lore out of it and the expression the heroine made at the end, ooo boy something interesting gonna happen!
