I'm guessing this manga will not follow the obvious outcome: he is immediately captured for the enormous bounty, then imprisoned in a high-security public breeding facility where he's forced to have anonymous sex with multiple women every day for the rest of his life.

With these "low male:female ratio" worlds, you have to think about the logistics. In order for the human race to continue, every man has to have at least one son. With closer ratios like 1:3 or even 1:10 that wouldn't be too hard. But as the ratio becomes more extreme that becomes hard or impossible. 1 man to 1000 women??? Any man, ANY man, no matter how bad his genes are, is going to be forced to have sex with thousands of women, most of them complete strangers, over the course of his life. He is reduced to a sort of reverse ant queen. His only purpose is reproduction. What's more, all of his children are going to grow up without a present father. In the real world, the lack of a father figure has large negative effects on a child's chances in life.

In conclusion, I think the human race would collapse in just a few generations with such a low number of men.

Nothing is forcing the mothers to be a single parent household. And keep in mind they're also raising just girls for the most part.

I havn't read this one in particular but in some it has been going on for a while, so obviously it works.

Meanwhile, in the real world where there are no sex imbalances and yet farms will freely use machines and other methods to just harvest massive amounts of semen and artificially inseminate all the animals they need to produce the numbers needed for agriculture - yeah... the only romance this guy would experience once captured is with a plastic tube.

Men being « rare » doesn’t justify the fact that the women magical my have better physical abilities. These mangas always use a shota as the MC. This doesn’t make any sense
