I knew as soon as i saw the almost 250 comments this chapter would be a good one. At first I was disappointed that she was able to regrow her hand but the clever twist on the magic and painful regrowing process made it work. The unexpected consequences of doing so were perfect, and managed to deepen the stakes and progress the characters relationships. It would be interesting if we find out later that the regenerated hand has problems with function like muscle spasms, tremors or neuropathic pain.

I also have a feeling Serina showing off her magical power like that in front of a crowd of nobility will absolutely have unforeseen consequences. And that's not to mention the engagement being broken off, an event that in the original game leads to Almelia's death! That prideful prince isn't going to forgive the two of them for humiliating him, especially without Estelle's positive influence. I wouldn't be surprised if he becomes a main antagonist now.

I'm still hoping for OT3 with Estelle but I'd be content with Serina x Almelia.
