During one of those visits, the MC, who is the son of a woodworker and a woodworker himself, asked what she wanted him to make for her. She asked for a figurine of a character she liked, which is not something easy to do.But he kept asking her questions about the character, worked hard, and eventually managed to make it. She loved it, kept it ever since, and used it as a source of strength, something to hold onto while she tried to stay sane through all those hospital stays.


Damn this all making me wanna go re-read it. need to find that epub I made with all the chapters or have to remake it which is not fun.

I don't remember 100% the reason he forgets,but I think it's he never knew her full name etc , also he had to deal with some trauma in his previous school so he has some trust issues and wanted to forget some stuff as well.

Also their interactions weren't constant and she had move hospitals soon after , So I think isn't a single thing but a mixture of everything

in the WN their falling for each other story is basically a single summer vacation so the time frame for them to be together is quite short , but he does have to work through some trauma before that so it takes a bit of time, but I believe there's no stalling at all just 2 people slowly getting together.
