I'm starting to get that their ideas of family dynasties are more so based on power dynamics than biological ties, since we've already seen a bunch of infidelity, cuckoldry, and strait up "illegitimate" children not having an eye batted at themman, mc just talking about impregnating a "new woman" in front of his "wives"
Worst part for me is that it's his fuckin house, also elise is honestly really annoying at this pointLove how he tried to justified seeing her naked for like a full minute, Granted the door should've been locked but knocking is also a thing.
i hate myself for bringing logic to something that isn't real but isn't this trope overdone at this point?
I have to agree. And it's not like the MC became Wendelyn within the last few months, he grew up there. This is a practice which he should already be very aware of, without his old sensibilities getting in the way.For a dude that uses the excuse of having reincarnated to justify his differing moral sense to himself ("no big deal I walked in on her"), he sure is easily on board with the whole polygamy, political weddings and marriages lacking love.
Just seems really inconsistent.
Medieval times.. It is normalman, mc just talking about impregnating a "new woman" in front of his "wives"
In noble society, it's about as dry as that sound. As their duty literally is about creating a heir, years of failed attempt basically means they lost their value as a wife.man, mc just talking about impregnating a "new woman" in front of his "wives"
Yeah he IS deliberate, in the novel he admitted to intentionally ignoring the in-use sign to "check out" the growth of his women, as otherwise he rarely got the chance to.You don't just "accidentally" walk in on people in the bath that many times. Maybe once or twice but at this point is has to be deliberate
Honestly, that makes a lot more sense. Whoops, sorry thought you might have been literally any other person in this household.Yea
