Why not just drop the entire dungeon on the army?

Why the magic users not come up with something as create a new spell fit for the ocassion, like magnetism?
They are all made of metal, magical like mithril, but metal .

I'm glad we got all this talking done. It's really my favourite part of these kinds of series.

Why didn't they all rest properly before attacking the immobile golems?!

@Wolvenworks, are we reading the same manga? MC blasted dragons as a kid...

@Zael yes we readin the same manga, so i guess fighting a massive army of mithril golems for a week non-stop is considered harder than bursting a dragon lol.

@CucarachaEnojada That's not how magnetism works... There are over 90 elemental metals... AFAIK, only 3-4 of those are ferromagnetic near-ish room temperature (i.e. only 3-4 will be attracted to magnets without any really complex trick involving other, more complicated effects)... Those are iron, cobalt, nickel, and gadolinium (below ~9 deg. C)... Mithril would almost certainly be unaffected by magnets...

Even if mithril was magnetic, would magical magnetism work on it if mithril resists magic? Kind of a big maybe, that time with the armored dragon he shot sharp stones into the eye holes rather than pummeling the thing with boulders or something. The mithril mechanics weren't really explained and the loophole used avoided it all together so them not just using the MC against this swarm suggests that his magic can't make something directly effective I guess.
Why not just drop the entire dungeon on the army?
They're trapped in that room too, and quite a ways underground. I wouldn't tear a ceiling down on my enemies in these circumstances, there's no telling what will happen when you do. You could tear out the support for floors above this one in the process and collapse the whole damn thing on yourself. As one D&D DM once said to a particularly annoying party, "Rocks fall, everyone dies."

@Glomoro agree with not collapsing the roof, it could make them trapped forever. But they could collapse the ground instead, then fly to the other side of the room. Even if not all the ground, a huge portion of the enemies would get fucked if a big hole is made in the middle of the room. There are no pillars holding the top floor for one.

Also while I understand that Well could teleport out but not back again (because he doesnt knows where they are exactly), he probably could teleport out of the dungeon and use the trap to get to the bottom over and over, as it uses the target's own magic (absorbed) to trigger. Cant him teleport more than one person? Even in one by one trips it should be fine?

And about their fighting plan... 'whos gonna be the vanguards... lemme see, I guess the three fucking melee fighters?'... no shit, Sherlock?

Why is the dungeon treated like a lighthearted joke?
Why are they walking around like bumbling buffoons?
And why does the oldtimer keep calling him "high priest" when he's obviously addressing him as a little boy (bozu) instead?
In the first place, why do they need a babysitter when they're supposed to be full-fledged adventurers now?
The translation is almost as irritating as the story at this point.
