Realistically, speaking to ghosts is a very powerful ability and would make MC a formidable Spy/Detective and enable him to easily solve most murder cases, but because this is the kinda manga where MC has to be treated like shit to justify his revenge its potential is just ignored by everyone else. It's a staple of the useless ability sub-genre.
The original owners of the bodies are most certainly going to fall in love with him and eventually be placed into another body. Maybe even back into their own if they're good and loyal enough. The simpler answer is that they realized MC had a trick telling him the cards and the guy casted the hallucination on him when they were left with 2 cards, gambler bitch realized he knew and so made him perceive the cards as inverted, notice how is not anything big as reality alteration, guys powers are lame after all, it was just trick on his mind, probably like a kid still learning directions confusing the left and righ hand, not anything complicated but exactly what they said, left and right were inverted to him, and possibly is a simply skill but absolute, so MC didn't even realized it because in his mind he thought left WAS right.
That manga you are referencing about is made by different author or even artist.. That manga MC had totally different abilities.. That manga MC can take everyone abilities he fuck.. But only limited to virgin woman.. It's just lucky the first girl he fuck had domination ability so that why he can force anyone after that..
Honestly I'd say it all depends on who is using the ability, no matter what the power is. Look at Orihime, if someone like Aizen or Uruhara had her ability, they would be way too overpowered even compared to themselves, but Orihime was pretty much useless despite having an overpowered ability.
