I guess he didn't have a choice but to put her in the body but someone with more self confidence would have been a much better option, the prince girl would be a good choice for the male porn star if they were going down the genderswap ghosts route but last chapter implied they can't, or at least won't do that.

I mean they are powerful enough to the point they can do anything they want with little to no consequences, actually feels pretty realistic

More to prevent his sister from finding out about him in contact with a girl! We still don't know the full story of anything really! So far as I can guess with the info displayed now and assumptions! His sister wants him isolated so when she kills him later, no one will "miss him" (but sure her GROUPIES knowing how they are, see it as "assuring he doesn't DISGRACE his sister who they SUPER admire by associating with the wrong people!" Basically they make SURE he's keeping to his "live as though he is DEAD, no contacts, no friends, NO ONE, the less people pay too much attention beyond mockery, the less he disgraces his sister! I mean we know how ZEALOTRY they are ESPECIALLY the glasses girl to his sister that ANY TIME she displays anger to MC, she gets BITCHY at him as though his MERE EXISTANCE is hurting his sister and that makes him EVIL! Classic Yandere behavior) but the issue is WHY and why would it matter, her abilities make her overpowered, yet. This does work out for him though as she's using others to keep an eye on him when she is not! So it gives him the legroom to work without getting her involved (if she did, his plan to try and save himself would be over then and there. By acting alone though, it gives him the chance to dismantle them one by one! All he has to do is fuck ONE of them and get them possessed, then BAM he's got a "inside ghost/woman" so he can keep an eye on them and send misinformation.

Looking at it though, bullying him seems to be LIMITED out of FEAR of his sister getting involved, not to save him but because it would be disrespecting her to go after her prey, even her "groupies" on the SC can mostly get away with SOME bullying (like forehead making her head into iron and headbutting him) but as shown, there job is mainly to MAINTAIN MC isolation! They seem to FEAR his sister finding out he's been in contact with a girl NOT acting hostile or keeping her distance beyond mocking him! I'm guessing this is from the Telepath girl from earlier (The one in contact with the Gambler Girl's Ghost) passing along information since it's obvious she can't take him or the Possessed girls on! Issue is it backfired as they decided to "eliminate" gambler girl! Thing is she REALLY wants her body back, and if her body is ELIMINATED, who knows what might happen!

I'm curious on how they found out! But I can see Ms. Prince being next on the list for possession (and likely by Mr. Beefcake Ghost since their personalities are about the same LOL) as I'm curious what HER powers are (wouldn't be shocked if it's a Mind Control type! She had to have one of her "harem" fight for her when in a pinch! It ALWAYS ends up being a Mind Control like power! Good for MC as it gets him control over HER harem to protect him better LOL and have more people on his side!

The more I see comments like this, the more I think Heat needs to do a PSA to clarify that the ghost hosting Ririka's body is a girl like when they did before to discourage spoilers.

Actually it's HIS father that is dead, flashback created a new mystery because early on, the story made you think his stepmom and sister killed his dad and want to kill him to take his inheritance, but it showed she GRIEVED his father's death and blamed HIM for it, showing the anger look that seems default

Most likely who's to say if MC is immune to his own power! As in he got possessed and killed his father without even knowing about it or was a ghost watching it before he was put back in. Or the biggest one, "he isn't the original owner of his body!" (MC might really be evil, as in the ORIGINAL owner of the body and the MC we've been following since the start was a ghost suffering amnesia, those memories being the Original host memories up till that end of them which is MC witnessing things. I've seen this plot twist before with reincarnation stories, there was one where MC reincarnated as an evil empress, tried to right the wrongs she was suppose to do, and the half-way point, the final bad guy was the OG Empress who forced her asleep and undid ALOT of what she did and stained her reputation so when she comes back, she now is at the END POINT of the OG story where she was suppose to be killed and has to win back everyone and fix what the Evil Empress did, helped that SOME noticed she acted weird so it's abit believeable she wasn't the evil WITCH they spend a decade dealing with and almost or already have given up on her) it would make a interesting twist (more so if it turns out the SISTER was possessed, so the one aimming for his life abd tormented him "isn't her")

Pretty much, a novel I'm reading is the only other one to portray absolute power this way. MC became an S-Rank which was literally described as a 1-man Army rank with only 11 in existence. Even Royalty acknowledges that they can't just order an S-Rank around. He gets into a scuffle (read: absolute beatdown) inside the guild and the Guild Master of that branch goes "come to my office so we can talk" and he goes "no, I don't think I will" and the Guild Master (who we find out later is a newly appointed GM who hadn't received her "how to handle S-Ranks training yet") was stunned and tried to be firm about it and he was like "what are you going to do? Make me? You literally aren't strong enough even if the entire guild teams up."

Which is then proven later when the entire guild fends off a monster stampede of ~10k monsters and is about to break due to an S-rank level threat and MC shows up and annihilates the entire horde while toying with said S-Rank level threat.

It was just really satisfying seeing an MC who can literally wipe cities off the map solo not being pushed around by the guild because "they'll revoke your license!" He even said "They can do that if they want, but it'd be their loss."

Good write-up. I will say it is insane how the student council is willing to commit murder to keep Hiroto isolated and not let his sister find out about it. No plans of intimating Ririka either, just kill her no matter what for talking to Hiroto. Damn that is extreme.


Prince probably have some sex related powers, like giving someone irresistible pleasure with just a touch. If she does have mind control powers then that would be good since Hiroto can cut down the amount of bodies he needs to hijack to protect himself.

I promise, the title doesn't do it justice. I was expecting standard slop, but the harem members are genuinely interesting characters and not just Pokemon for the MC to catch (so far all 4 [5th is an unofficial member atm] members knew him prior to the betrayal and all but one knew him before he was OP so it's not "wow, he's strong, I love him!")

Edit: Another note is they don't do the whole "he's too dense to realize" schtick. Most of volume 1 was him recovering from the betrayal and now Volume 2 (up to ch 44 since I'm not paying for releases) has been him accepting that they love him but him trying to move slowly since he's only ever been in that one relationship that ended badly and hes got to overcome his own insecurities about relationships. It's not exactly a slow burn harem wise, but it's not the neutron star dense harem protags you're used to reading about either
