seems like you forgot, but the power is just the ability to misdirection. To the target, they are targeting someone right in front of them, to everyone else, they wonder why are they not aiming at the target.
You are right I did forget but in my defence that was over 10 chapters ago and I drank at a celebration for the 1st time in a long while

Nirasawa may got her body back but she is still Hiroto's ally. She was willing to challenge Yuu before Hiroto told her he can handle her. Even the kidnappers are working with the assumption that Nirasawa will be around Hiroto during their kidnapping attempt.

Besides, even if Ririka knows the method of getting her body back without involving Hiroto, she still wants him kidnapped so she can have him tortured and murdered by her goons.
We the readers know Nirasawa is still his ally, but Ririka does not, and we can assume, from their brief time as fellow ghosts, that Nirasawa was not really in a willing position to have her body taken, so if Ririka learns Nirasawa got her body back, and she wasn't seen with Hiroto when he escaped the goons,we can also assume Ririka will think that they are not on the same side anymore, meaning that the danger to her side is lowered.

But yes, Nirasawa is his ally, and that will come as a surprise to Ririka who will not be able to predict it.

If Ririka assumes Nirasawa and Hiroto are not allies anymore because she learned Nirasawa got her body back, she probably will be confused on why Nirasawa didn't turn Hiroto into paste yet.

Everybody knows, including Hirasawa, not to mess with the step-sister, and everybody knows that they can't do anything (extra harsh) against him. Ririka knows who he is (he didn't hide it during their bet)

Can't believe how invested I am in his story lol, thought this would be straight up H (I was reading this on another site but they haven't updated it since ch19) but instead got a decent story that involves H instead.

But I can see what that one user mean by betrayal foreshadowing as that one ghost the cult leader if I remember correctly has a similar ability to mc and if that's the case then using his ability might amp mc into having permanent abilities or something similar to the other H manga/doujin but I don't see this mc being turned into villain because his personality is way different, story seem to also be similar to that one gamer manga where the mc "sexual" ability improves over time and they eventually get their memory back. (unfortunately I don't remember the name and I don't remember finishing that manga... just remember that it was story heavy with sex scenes.)

Only reason I'm mentioning the gamer one is because the "memory lost" and potentially "op ability activated via sex" felt like deja vu XD.
(Gah now I want to finish it... time to Google spaghetti words til something triggers a memory lol.)

Oh and I went back and reread ch1 - 5 sooo the step sister the op one mentioned to mc if there was any change but it wasn't elaborated on what that meant.. like any change in his ability or memory or both? And why mustn't the mc come in contact with a specific person because it definitely feels like the student council or his sister are aware of his ability hence they find it troublesome that he is hanging around women, and even though his sister treats him badly she refuses to let him be too far from her.... also are you telling me non of the maids or butlers even check in on him at all in yard or hear moaning from his "free time" ? Lol
(The artist/author makes seem he still lives in their mansion area yet no one even saw him bringing girls to his hut? Not even the gardeners?)

Ps: I miss kuro :(

Well since people are throwing out their theories of why stuff is happening here's mine:

Hiroto's family were all happy and stuff and they all got along initially but I'm assuming Hiroto's dad died for whatever reason and since Hiroto can see ghost, he probably heard his dad say that he loves his wife and family and that he'd be waiting for them on the other side and Hiroto being the kind and naive child told the mom and in grieve stricken state probably killed herself and left a note saying that Hiroto said that the dad was waiting for her and that is why the sister hates him for the parents death.

Now more than half of that shit is pure speculation so take with a grain of salt

Fear of Hiroto's stepsister can only go so far in protecting Hiroto when it comes to revenge since both girls expressed desires to kill Hiroto for what he did.

Bro's life is in constant danger, he should consider getting another tool to assist him, one like this:
best-38-special-ammo-for-snubbies-article-image-snub-nose-revolver-1024x678.jpg

Would even help him make some new ghost friends
Hmm Japan got one of the most strictest weapon law in the world. so if he got caught with that... ghost or not. prison time. but hey it might save his life in a way to stay in the prison?
Considering how much has been bent for the strong female ability users,I would hazard guns have also been placed in secondary importance.

Also, all he would really need to do is find a gun store, have the ghosts help, then find a weaponsmith/female weaponsmith/ghost weaponsmith/female ghost weaponsmith and have a supressor made.

This comic is very well thought out,and the variables make any plan viable in form or another, and even does have limitations.

My line of thought was like this, it's impossible he doesn't find in all Japan a ghost of a person you would deal with guns while alive and doesn't know how to get him one, he could very well sell private information that only a dead person from a organisation would know and such, and while there are insanely op girls some powers don't make them bullet proof haha.
But i do know it would take much more work for the author to write all this in a credible way, and it's cool how he is dealing with them so far, just a joke about killing people would make him new ghost 'friends'.

Not really.

He just has to realise that guns would be helpful, probably from meeting a gunsmith ghost first, and go on from there.

Whilst their ability to phase through things would help immensely with breaking in and stealing stuff, gaining inside info in the most meta way possible helps greatly when coming up with a risky plan.
