In chapters 21 and 22 it said the bangle generates the abilities, rather than being the superpowers the ghosts had in life. When they talking about whether it didn't matter whether the ghost was male or female.

It's called "hacking ghost" for a reason. It bypasses the normal laws, I'd wager.

Let's review what we know. When they are in ghost form, souls can't use their abilities. Correct? They need a "host" in order to manifest it. In which case, this seems to be our MC's gimmick, where he can temporarily "borrow" the ability of said soul through the bracelet that was given to him by teddy-bear-chan.

This is where it gets tricky, but MC's power (Ghost hacking) is to replace's people's souls with one of his ghosts. The ghost then "hacks" that person's body, allowing it to use its ability on the MC's behalf. Correct? And the original owner of said body gets transformed into a harmless ghost, as we have so far noticed.
