At first it seemed to me that the harem jokes were unexpected (especially the frame when Akira suddenly remembered her bisexuality), and Misora ​​was unusually innocent in this chapter, but the subsequent scene reminded me that it was still Takatou Rui with his portrayal of romance as pure sex. Classic, lol. One way or another, I wanted to know more about the president. It seems that he is a typical mentor, but it also seems that Rui is steadily trying to hint to us about some of his importance in the future.

Thanks for the chapter and as always for the last pages notes.
Here in Brazil tokusatsu's shows were very famous when I was a kid.
But we call him Jaspion, which I think is closer to the original Japanese romanization Jyaspion. (I know the "Jus" is for justice, but it's really weird to see his name written in that way)
Recently, a channel broadcasted it again on Sundays and was a huge hit.

@luvicvis A lot of Misora's friends started off as cameos of heroines from Takatou Rui's earlier works. I understand them as alternate universe versions of these characters, rather than as the same people. Kurisu and Reia originated from a manga "Redman Princess," which is fully translated here on Mangadex. The two girls are high school students... but then Reia gets possessed by an ancient Native American spirit and tries to assassinate the American president!

@ko1 Yeah, Toei has always pushed for the literal "Jaspion" tanslation, even if it takes away the pun of the series. I found out they just released Juspion on Blu-ray last year! As far as I know it's the first Metal Heroes show to ever have an American release. Metal Heroes are very obscure here, even to this day. Back when I was getting heavily into toku (early 2010's) The English fansub community was much more focused on localizing the different Kamen Riders and Super Sentais than anything else.

@Odoritomaki Not all alternatives, Cynthia and the arguably Akira are straight (what a pun) cameo, right down to the biography or school uniform in middle school. But at the moment I almost did not notice that this had more influence on the plot than on the reader.

Sanada kind of remembers me of Tae-Soo from sun-ken rock, though Sanada-san seems much more charismatic.
I loved all the tokusatsu references, Sanada is a man of culture!

And I can't wait for the Yuri arc too, I mean, I started reading this because it has the Yuri tag but this manga is much more than that, though a little romance on Misora's side wouldn't hurt.

@Alice_is_lost I would not call it "romance" in the usual sense of the word, but hell, Rui even straight relationship depicts as pure sex, so this doesn't change much.

And even though in Rui's case, she is basically using the guys love for her to satisfy her desires, she still probably likes him.
