Not gonna lie, this chapter is a bit confusing. So the police found Kaori’s mother’s body, along with her phone, three months after her death, and now they’re trying to use it to contact Kaoru? That’s… strange.

I hope they introduce a police character and show him doing some detective work, like going to their school, checking her house, and so on.
