Because the color page gives the latter, but everyone seems to call him the former instead, even immediately after the reveal... Is it meant to be like a sort of nickname, maybe? Is everyone just getting his name wrong all the time? Is it a mistake on the author's part? Or is it just a translation error, and that page was meant to say Kurose?

Also, for an example of a couple who never went on first name basis…Takagi and Nishikata (Teasing Master Takagi-san) - even though we knew the first name of the daughter (Chie) the couple ever mentioned their own first names in both the original series and Moto.
