I checked the author's Twitter timeline just to be sure, and I can safely say it has something to do with the upload. Because they now match the same crispness as his Twitter. Like literally same exact images from previous chapters look better on Twitter.

She's embarrassed over knowing what costume he'd pick [for her].
Takamine's 100% head over heels for Shirota at this point, so it at least lines up.
And she'll spin it as "I don't want to know what pervy fantasy you have in mind when you think of me", or something.

Anyway is it just me or has the artwork itself leveled up a bit? Maybe it's just because of how long it's been since the previous chapter, or the resolution of the raws or something.
Just feels more "crisp", I guess.

I am sorry to break it to you, but there weren't any hiatuses or laid-back periods; it's just MangaUP being ass. I mean, the previous person only relied on MangaUP (or Volume releases) for the raws, but since this manga is being serialized in a magazine, the magazine version will be ahead of MangaUP, and that's how I obtained the raws. The magazine in question is GanGan JOKER.

The story is terrible and I am just here to see how it ends and if it can get worse than:
servitude by blackmailing, Stockholme syndrome, sexually harassing stalking lesbian...the guy is a talented artist but is beyond me how he and his editor could think that he can write humans.

Alright, we get it, you don't like it. Maybe stop reading it is the reasonable way to proceed? This manga has been pretty consistent on what it is from the beginning. Hate-reading is plainly lame.

If you're gonna comment three separate times only to say the same thing in three slightly different wordings, there's a chance your sanity will be better preserved and/or at least spent on something else.
Getting upset over a series wherein the author clearly has a set concept in mind just because you personally don't like it, only to come back chapter after chapter and complain about it...is certainly your prerogative, but at the end of the day it seems miserable and I have to wonder why anyone would do that to themselves.
