Takamura really is a hypocrite. He has definitely let fights get personal before both inside and outside of the ring. And unlike Iga and Kurita, he does not just keep his violence to the ring, a fair fight. He regularly has (and continues to) beat up people outside of the ring, including people considerably smaller and weaker than him.

The only reason we have not seen Takamura's victims literally die is because they were given plot armor.

Takamura definitely does a lot of messed up stuff, but I think his bigger concern here is the cruelty of stringing along an opponent. "Martial Art of Boxing" and all that

Takamura goes all out, this guy kept the fight as long as possible to injure aoki as much as possible, I don't recall takamura fighting outside of the ring (except for gags with the date posse in the bar)
