I fucking love Takamura's fights because they always depict just how much everyone cares for him despite the normal goofiness that happens in the series, but Takamura finishing with Ippo's style of fighting is absolutely perfect considering what has happened recently.
A perfect way to display exactly what Ippo wanted to do the last fight, that his fighting style and what they learned from the same coach is viable at the world level. He made sure to make Kamogawa proud and take back some of Ippo's pride too, as well as providing a guiding light for him too.
