My god, the comedic value of Hajime no Ippo is ceaseless.

I fully understand this is a tough moment for Ippo, but the depiction of the events is just hilarious.

On page 5, Taihei is still so cocky, so confident that Ippo is too much of a goody to interfere. Then page 6 happened and it had me crying tears. Then for the next 4 pages, Taihei's opponent is still frozen and everyone's first assumption is whether Ippo killed Taihei with just a slap. Then of course, at the end, Ippo acts like a drama queen. And we know he's completely serious.
