Bruh. That's one image of him with Yame at a shrine. You're showing me crumbs and acting like it's a 3 course meal. Even if they started showing more chapters focused on their relationship, it's gonna be hard to enjoy it knowing that Jun'ichi is practically cheating with all these girls that're romantically obsessed with him and/or repeatedly sexually assaulting him, but he refuses to put his foot down or even try to establish hard boundaries with them. He and Yame used to be characters with feelings and drives and insecurities. Now he's just a shy harem protag there to be the softcore porn self insert mc, and she's just the gf there to give him a reason to be in these situations but never actually go all the way with any other girl.
I don't have any will whatsoever to look for raws and check if author really starts to pay more attention to, you know, originally main characters, but let's be honest - even if he did, it'll last for like what, one short side story inside whole volume? And you cannot erase the disgust after previous few dozens of chapters, just by showing Junichi and Yame on a fucking date. It's waaaaaay to late for that, their date could be "wholesome" content like 150 chapters ago, when they barely knew each other. Heck, you can look ~100 chapters back and you will find, that their relation was way more developed back then.
And to add to all of that, we literally got some sort of "statement" from author few chapters ago, that Yame "isn't background character". Really? Isn't she? And after such statement we still got this pile of shit side story, which is literally soft porn that again resolves around pals from manga club, with slimy boobs ASMR bullshit as a "main dish"? Fucking awesome piloting by Mr. Author, fantastic shit, I love being slapped in the face right after someone told me, that they won't do it again.
Listen, I don't have a grudge against you, you're doing beautiful job keeping with this crap and staying sane (I hope you are, lol), but let's be honest here - this manga won't get any better, even if author suddently will drop some minor main characters story, because overall direction that he gave, won't change - there won't be any more fluff and serious development of characters with sprinkle of ecchi vibe, which we all loved in a original series, it'll be completly dumped pile of horseshit, full of stupid soft porn for braindead jerkoffs, probably interwoven with an actual porn in the near future, with Yame and Junichi - which would be good overall, if only it'd happen like what, ~75 chapters ago?
So yeah, I don't have any hopes for this series, honestly, I'm just waiting for you to drop it to say final "thank you and sorry that you had to deal with this for such a long time".
