There's nothing better than this cliche??? I really hope she's gone for a year or more. That would be more interesting. But, Yame seems too much calm about the whole thing...

The wording makes it sound like she's *only* going to be gone during Spring Break, which shouldn't be that long. It does mean plenty of non-school time where they'll be long distance, but like, isn't Japanese spring break around 10 days?

What is this "hope the author knows what he's doing" bullshit from the scanlator, too... this manga is entirely built around misunderstandings so it seems clear that the lack of specified duration is relevant. I bet she won't miss a single day of school.

Whether it's a bait or not -- whether she's going for just a couple weeks, or for a whole semester/year -- I'm still pissed (annoyed) by it. It's such a pain in the ass bit of forced drama. And it doesnt really match up with the loving relationship they're currently in, like why would you (as a character) choose to do that right now? Typically when youre that young and hormone filled, nothing seems more important than Love/Lust, especially when you're in a relationship; so acting in a way that doesn't prioritize that is unusual.

I thought these two were gonna have a steadily increasing relationship leading to an eventual happily ever after together (like marriage and kids when theyre older).
But now Im thinking this might actually just be mostly about the relationship they had in their youth - as a good memory, or something like that - and about him having his first time.

I dont think the france trip will end things necessarily, but my faith in their relationship for the future is a bit shaken.
