Netori specifically concerns cheating from the POV of the partner-thief, not just cheating in general. That much is true.
Netorare, however, is the opposite. It specifically concerns cheating from the POV of the cuck whose partner is stolen.

This is because netori is a noun based on the active form of the verb netoru: "to (actively) steal someone else's partner".
Netorare, meanwhile, is a noun based on the passive form of netoru: "to (passively) have one's own partner stolen".

The generic word for adultery seems to be "soukan", but so far as I know, it isn't in common English use as a genre tag.
