Not wanting to begin reading something that I will eventually dislike, I did a bit of searching and discovered that this manga has also been turned into a TV series. If the TV series is a faithful adaptation of the manga, then the description here ought to be enhanced so people who don't like love triangles can avoid it.

25-year-old Kotaro Ozu was an ordinary salaryman, but he decided to quit his job. He then begins work as a teacher at an all-girl high school.

32-year-old Takako Hara works at the same school as Kotaro. Takako begins to have feelings for Kotaro, who is younger than her. Even though Kotaro has a fiance, they are attracted to each other. Meanwhile, Akio Kurosawa, who had a relationship with Takako, still has feelings for her.

The TV series seems to change the order of a few things, but yeh it does pretty accurately capture adult relationships where, despite good intentions, things aren’t always so simple. Anyone who can’t handle that kind of drama should bail early and leave the rest of us to enjoy it.
