Reading this makes me wish I took better care of my hamsters. I was like 8 and hamsters are usually considered beginner pets, so I guess I wouldn't have known this stuff

But still

It's just one of those things that you learn and now every time you see someone doing it wrong, it annoys you. Like people putting fish into tiny fish tanks and then being surprised when they die in a few months
