@Svarna I don't think it was him that cut her hair, although it doesn't directly specify who did cut her hair, I assume it was her ex-friend since it showed them getting into a fight and she also references it in chapter 6 on page 27. Although I also assumed it was him at first, since I thought the word bubble covering his face was intentional to blot out the memory, but now I think it was actually to focus on the picture between her and her friend, with him on the side to show what the conflict was about.
