IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE, the longer she has the money the more those specific people will hate her but if she's covering for her then why isn't she just asking for the money back? After all, all would be fixed if the misunderstanding is fixed but nah nah, I'll just be nice, refuse all chances of retaining the money I "lost" and gaslight- wait, what if she was intentionally giving her the money IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW
