@Onsokumaru Carrying in the same ideas of current Japan plus applying the fact that there is no UN or anything: men won't have enough money or success to be deemed worthy as husbands like many modern first world countries, plus women choosing jobs over kids, so marriage and birth rate drops leading to a myriad of problems over an extended time period, eventually this country gets invaded by another that doesn't have this problem and is annexed and destroyed. Alternatively, slow burn of multiple countries annexing small pieces of their country while they can do little to deal with the combined problems. End of country.
On a side note I wonder if there are other human countries men that can't find partners can go to, leading to an overall social economic rebalancing of the social gender ratio leading to men becoming scarcer and thus more valuable in the social market scheme..
Id love to read a manga where it deals with gender problems like isekai'd to a world where only 30% of people are born men - how would that cause society to be different? 25% 20%? At what point does it tip where men become the ones who select and and pursued, versus right now. Just meta society things i wonder about.
