This “volume 5 end” sequence is epic, especially if you re-read it while listening to the equally epic “Saito is Coming” theme from the anime.
Fun fact: “the Snow White warrior, Veisner Serost” has names derived from the German word “Weiß” (meaning “whiteness”) and the Russian word “серость” (meaning “grayness”).
Both these words have alternative spellings: “Weiß” is spelled “Weiss” outside of Germany (in Switzerland, in Liechtenstein, etc.) and “серость” was spelled “сѣрость” in the Russian Empire.
The meanings of these words might be seen as fitting for the theme of snow-colouredness, but alternatively may be seen as continuing the tradition originally set by the names of Darkness (a character in Konosuba) and Brightness (a character in “Ore dake Haireru Kakushi Dungeon”).
