bruh laying down in a public shower like that...idc if it was just cleaned...still don't trust it LOL ew

anyways, good match, sad that it had to end that way but it was inevitable bc the author kept panning shots to her knee throughout the whole match. was wondering when it'd come into play like 100 chapters ago when this match started xdd

That was fucking intense.
The animation really draws out rawness and amount of power being displayed.
Also ngl that's some dank ass fan service there, amen

Connie laying down on shower is really erotic imo. I am hoping for C96

As expected, the author didn't let his favorite character (Nagisa) be defeated properly. What a fucking cop out.

[Loooong sigh] As I was afraid, the worst possible outcome of the match happened... Not only the shot was out, the lost because of her knee, and now the trainers all agree that Connie was superior so the match was decided anyway? come on... really. I won't talk much about that, what really was good is that they shown them having fun, because with this favoritism it wouldn't be weird if they shown Connie's struggling for one point while Nagisa is happy- AH WELL !!

MOVING ON

Let's see what's up! the best 4 are all very cool and seems like Connie no longer has a fixation to crush Ayano (I thought that was only in the anime but previous chapter seemed like it was in the manga too) so there are no enemies anymore, only rivals and that's really cool!

Thanks for the chapter!!!

I never liked nagisa to be honest, ever since that coach only ever taught nagisa and not the team, specially ayano, the only advice she ever got from him was when she was being beaten by nagisa. It's like the manga is about nagisa

gotta admit that this was the best way to proceed with this, and seeing Connie in that state is priceless

@Lithe

Why? A third of the chapter is devoted to the emotional game, a third to coach's flirt witch Nagisa, and a third to the destruction of Connie after an unlawful victory.

@SuperOniichan The first and third seem to answer your question.

Mind you it's how it accomplished those things e.g. what emotions they felt and the events that happened in the third thing. Add into that the hyper-analyzing and the weird conversations they have about it and there you have it.

She can't move. I didn't see any explosion and she's still out of mana?
An unexpectedly great ending. Or how you can turn questionable plotting into great writing. You could ask why stop Nagisa now? If you were worried about her knee, stop the match after the second set. But the reactions of both Connie and Nagisa who were going to the core of the game and were having a wonderful time together only to be stopped before they were satisfied was amazing. Proof that this mangaka can still write well when not busy with weird obsessions. I hope he continued on that course for the match between Ayano and Yuika.
"My brain isn't working!" She's not the only one. Are they trying to kill her?
Yuika's reaction when Connie didn't want to be undressed by her was gold :)
Poor Tsubasa really wanted to play Rui. She didn't get to do that AND she won't be bigged up in her match against Connie, which she will obviously lose humiliatingly with lots of tears and frustration. What's even the point of her playing Connie when the mangaka just uses her as a filler character who isn't allowed to achieve anything?

You consider this travesty good writing? This was a cheap cop out so the writer could have his cake and eat it too. Now he can move on to the "Ayano vs Connie" finale without letting Nagisa, his favourite character, be properly defeated. That's just cheap.

Since neither Ayano nor Connie was able to beat Nagisa, the final match will lack impact. It will feel weak for a finale since they didn't prove they're the strongest.

I think you're all exaggerating with your hate, a lot, I don't know what the manga did to your family but damn, it must have been something horrible

Wow fuck this.

I dont know Nagisa is the author's favorite or anything but this is just bad writing, author is literally shitting on their sportsmanship.

If one were to lose, let them lose properly. You do not need to insert some random "oh if it wasn't for this she could have won" bullshit. Acknowledging defeat is one important aspect to grow as an athlete, it's disrepectful to the characters for them to win/lose in such a humilating way.

That was anti-climatic. I mean, Nagisa winning, Connie winning, or Nagisa's knee giving out (like Ippo and thus being a cautionary tale) is better than this ending.
