With Hanebado ending next month, I'm looking forward for the ending.
Spoiler for the ones who can't contain their curiousity
In chapter 77 Ayano beats Connie. Chapter 78 is the aftermath of the match and ends with the line, 2 years later. Which will mean that the finale is set after a 2 year timeskip, most likely at the olympic games

69......? Noice

I wonder, did she hit Yuika's arm by accident with an unintended effect? if that was the case it makes sense because there's no way she could've expected the *snap*

@Caim31 I actually didn't find the raws for 78, or well at least I didn't find the drawings, what I did find was a japanese site having the entire synopsis of said chapter written out and I managed to make something semi-understandable out of it with google translate.

You can find it somewhere on comicaloid.jp

This manga is still the only place where I ever saw a player physically dive for the shuttlecock or sit or lie on the court. The guy who writes this must play some wild games.
And here we go with the trump card again. It's badminton. Not poker.
And there we go portraying dark-haired girls as if they can't fight their own battles and come up with solutions for their own problems again. I never saw Connie or that "Shindou" girl ever consult with their trainer. And that's because the mangaka wants to portray blonde girls as readymade successful people who can take on any problem on their own, while he wants to portray dark-haired girls as people for whom every obstacle is an uphill-battle that they can't find on their own.
"So don't lose!" Meanwhile everyone else is wondering when intervals started to last multiple minutes.
Ah... The match that doesn't hold a single surprise. The match nobody cares about.
As expected, the mangaka is starting to get anxious to portray dark-haired girls getting humiliated by blonde girls again. We got two great chapters out of this match, but this one and the previous one have been almost non-stop nonsense. At least we got the two chapters. It's more than I expected but far less than we deserve after all the nonsense I've read in this manga since the start of the preliminaries.
