His 2 childhood friends were the only 2 that really needed too much convincing, since they are natives of the kingdom, the others are either natives of the empire or a third party and are probably willing to go along with their friends since it means none of them get left behind.

The 'twin underclassmen' look like brats in some panels, especially next to that Ambros who isn't that crazy huge in other shots. I don't think the artist has a proper height chart for these characters.

girls being touchy touchy is fine, but bros? except when you are super ill and even with that they try to respect the code as much as possible
