I have seen more boring Isekai/fantasy go on for longer on sterile tangents about politics or generic demon lord stuff.
I find this absurd situation funny, is like if girls in Manga realized how important the MC is and did everything they could to seize him... but also without being overly needy,controlling and trying to benefit from it.

It is a power fantasy, plain and simple, but funny in its absurd execution.
