Man, i don't know how i did it, but my dog always has been pretty lax in terms of play, he didn't run around much, or even lear how to play with toys.

@Richman It depends on the breed and individual dog. Breeds have predispositions to certain personality traits but just like humans some dogs are assholes, some are chill af, some are in between regardless of their breed e.g. sight hounds like Whippets and Greyhounds are generally lazy af outside of a few short bursts of high activity (20-30 minutes of full pelt running) meanwhile most springer spaniels basically have ADHD.

Working breeds have a very high activity drive (they require a lot of mental stimulation or tasks to do) but unfortunately these are the types of dogs a lot of people get and wonder why the poor thing is eating the skirting board out of boredom.
