We learned a lot this chapter. Conspiracy and intrigue, ruthlessness. it's now definitive that they are trying to use these other monster girls to kill the first. I suppose killing her with shovels while it was unconscious didn't work? or they are trying to produce a counter they can use on other specimen of her kind in the future.

You know, going back to chapter 1, I'm now pretty sure we have an unreliable narrator regarding what characters look like, she sees the cows as steaks, so these other girls may not be human in appearance.

They were surprised when they could talk with the MC so the MC doesn't look like them either. (Assuming that they are in fact not humanoid looking and so not used to things that look like them not understanding them)

So I expect if we get a human POV chapter, the MC will be some horrific but small thing with that long tail and many many many teeth, but idk what the two other girls will look like.
Also we see in the other character's eyes that the humans look like humans in biohazard suits, while the MC sees them as big bunny mascots. So that basically confirms it in my eyes.

So the bunnies are actually people in hazmat suits. Kopeko just sees them as bunnies. Wonder if her perception of everything else is also different? Are the "humans" like Ef actually monsters? Is she herself some disgusting creature rather than a cute little girl? Are the cows even cows?

IDK thier motives or why they don't just starve her, my guess was that to test ways to kill her, rather than just kill her, like a laboratory testing new rat poison is going to be housing and feeding rats normal food also, and not just taking a shotgun to every rodent they see.
But I do know they are poisonous, the humans acknowledged as such:
1. She takes a lick of blood.
2. She collapses onto Ef.


3. the humans talk about the potency of the new girl and Ef's poison.

Don't know why they are doing this, but the lab testing angle was what I came up with when reading the chapter. Could be totally wrong. 🤷‍♂️

Its also very possible they are using this demon as a guinea pig, maybe use her like a secret weapon possibly, assuming the poison expirement fails. And likely they are also utilizing these girls as defenses against future demons. For them, a win win provided the demon collaborates.

I feel this makes the most sense.
