She never wanted to marry the guy in the first place, and he clearly only gave the money to guilt trip her into marrying him. Of course she's not going to treat him as some kind of savior. Nobody would treat someone as a savior in that situation.

Ryuu exploited Koharu's desperation to get her under his thumb. Then he acted like she owed him sex because of the amount he chose to pay (she never agreed to any such deal). And the first time she made a small gesture of friendly, relationship-building trust toward him, he molested, degraded and all but raped her in the bath.
As presented so far, Ryuu is a scumbag. He's a narcissistic man-baby who doesn't give a shit about anything or anyone beyond the satisfaction his own desire. That people give him a pass while wishing death on Koharu for not happily becoming his #3 sex pet is mind-boggling to me.

I really dislike how everyone is acting like she’s unbearable and selfish. She sold her body to someone she didn’t love for her family. Ryuu is a bastard, he is a sexual assaulter, the other women are also making her life hard and her feel pressured into doing things. Sure she can be annoying but the fact everyone hates mc and not ryuu, just shows how sexist people can be. They expect her to just accept that she’s married to an assaulter, while she’s new to poly, so of course she’s going to be hesitant about everything. Give her a break

I really don't get the mother's train of thought leading to the destination "my daughter should be grateful' though.
If anything her parents should be. They got bailed out by her after all. Even if business is going poorly, how do you amass a fucking 30mil debt.
Especially with them (apparently) owning the building, they could've always just closed the store if it was costing them money they didn't have.
Instead of clinging onto the past and loaning money to keep running what should make not cost them money.
I almost forgot, but the mother was the one signing the marriage contract.
